These are so nice to eat because the spinach breaks up the meat.
They are also tenderized by the mixer.
Per 1 lb of ground beef
use 1 T meatloaf seasoning (see 01-24 entry)
& 2 c packed fresh baby spinach, chopped
Combine and beat in mixer until meat looses pink color
Form into patties and throw on the grill.
Sprinkle crumbled feta on top for the last 2 minutes of cooking or just as they are removed and let rest to warm the feta.
Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato, etc...
If you bake them, form into patties that are thinner in the middle (like a red blood cell) and bake at 375 for about 15 minutes. Add cheese for the last 3 minutes.
